In the Western world, one of the biggest challenges we find in hearing God’s voice is the ability to take time out to listen to him. The ever-pressing demands of a fast-paced life mean that prioritising time to pray often finds itself at the bottom of our endless to-do lists. Then when we do find the time, it’s difficult to quieten our minds long enough to focus on what God is saying.
This was the subject of a question asked at the website. Karen asked; “Can you give us some tips on how to just be still & listen to God…how to stop the chatter in your mind?” There is good news for those who find themselves wanting to hear God’s voice in a busy season.
